To forgive is divine...but everytime?????

How much I've had faith in the old saying,"To err is human,to forgive is divine...blah blah!!"Yuck...it's all bullshit.....!!Always trying to be divine,yeah.....but we all are humans at the end of d day...aren't we??And as humans...forgiving and forgetting is like...yeah I forgot the times i cried!...I forgot that feeling of loneliness that crept into me...!I forgot all the wounds suffered(not the physical ones...emotional wounds....they hurt more deep inside....) and I forgot all the pain...and hence.....I forgive you...!!Where does this happen??

It all started with an introspection into myself...n that i found one of my biggest flaws...this tendency of forgiving easily...phh...commit a mistake....hurt the person badly....say a sweet word to him/her....and its done....heartiest congratulations...!!You just tamed an angry bull...and now you own it...because you know you can hurt it as many times as you wish...!!Wow...!You hurt it,say a sweet word n then again repeat the procedure....n it goes on and on....Mental torture!!It's you who allows the other person to take advantage...remember what our parents taught us while we were just learning to adjust with this mean world,"Daughter/Son!Don't ever be a slave to anyone...Fight till the last breath's gone"What happened of it??

Woof.....I was wondering whether our hearts are made up of butter....just a little warmth of words makes it melt....But Enough is enough.....!!!

Without drawing the long bow,we need to become the "Procrusteans" that we are at home...where we make one and all to dance to our tunes....A change in attitude is needed..much sooner than later!!
God Bless!!!

Hi...I guess none of us know each other but thats not important, just a casual visit to the blog..and went through this article....i know views are views and all are free to have their own...So here am i letting out mine..I really dont know although how open would you be to critical comments.
My views about forgiveness are almost the exact opposite..its something that needs real strength..emotional strength.. to look right into the eyes of the person that did you wrong but not with anger in your eyes, instead with the appreciation that he has realised his guilt..infact commiting a mistake and to do something wrong is just a proof of the fact that we all are humans.. all of us make mistakes .. someday, we too will and for sure..a minor request, just when youthink of not forgiving someone for a thing however trivial or however humoungous, close your eyes for a moment, and think what difference would it make if instead of scolding or whatever , you forgave that person..take my word, the look in the eyes of the person , that look of realization that even after the wrong i commited i am being forgiven by a huge hearted person' that very look says it all, its ea feeling of exaltation..you win the battle there and then..

Anyways..Its your blog.. You can delete this comment if you found this comment against your liking, or inappropriate in any sense

Akshat sir..thanks for your comment anyway.I respect your views..no matter how critical they are..
Your stand is right..I agree..It's something I've believed in and practised for all these years..but..there are circumstances which make you think about your perspective of looking at things..I've gone through those circumstances and felt how wrong I've been.. Forgiving somebody again and again backfires..n I've faced the brunt of being that "Mahaforgiving" creature that I was..and yes how many times a person has to be forgiven??once or twice...but if it's repeatedly done...your huge heart surrenders too..
This was a lesson I've very well learnt..So I stick to my new, transformed views..
